For thousands of years, hypnosis has been used to help people overcome emotional and physical conditions.
Modern clinical hypnotherapy combines these time-tested techniques with psychotherapy to restore the balance between conscious desires and beliefs and those we store in the sub-conscious mind.
Contrary to the mythical image of a man dangling a watch in front of you, who takes control of your mind, you are awake and in complete control during clinical hypnotherapy. The clinical hypnotherapist deeply relaxes you into a trance state and then guides you in making positive, long-term changes to your behaviour.
Carol has been practising clinical hypnotherapy since 1993 when she attained her Diploma of Clinical Hypnotherapy through the Australian Academy of Hypnotic Science. In addition, Carol has a Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Hypnotherapy. She is accredited by the Australian Association of Clinical Hypnotherapy & Psychotherapy (AACHP) and is registered on The Australian National Hypnotherapy Register (ANHR).
Carol provides this program treatment from her clinic in Ferntree Gully and surrounding suburbs of Melbourne, Victoria.
